2013 25-Cent Coloured Coin – Wood Duck

This 2013 25-cent coloured coin from the Royal Canadian Mint showcases a breeding pair of Wood Ducks, celebrated for their stunning plumage and unique nesting habits. The reverse design, by Canadian artist Trevor Tennant, features the male and female wood ducks perched on a tree branch in full color, highlighting their iridescent and vibrant feathers. This coin is the second in the "Ducks of Canada" series, commemorating the 75th anniversary of Ducks Unlimited Canada.
