Inspired by the 1911 Silver Dollar, this Special Edition Proof Set celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the original design by W. H. J. Blakemore. Each coin reflects the denomination and size that circulated in 1911 and is presented in an elegant cherry wood protective display case. Limited mintage of only 6,000!
Reverse: The reverse image commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the striking of Canada's 1911 Silver Dollar and each coin re-creates the original pattern design of a Crown and Maple Boughs with ribbon, denominations, lettering 'CANADA' and commemorative double-date '1911-2011' is inscribed
Obverse: depicts an effigy of King George V
Packaging: Coins are encapsulated and showcased in a protective acrylic casing, enclosed in a beautiful cherry wood display case lined with black velvet. set does not come with outer black sleeve or certificate of authenticity.
