Description
This 1913 German 3 Mark silver coin commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1813 defeat of Napoleon and the Wars of Liberation. The obverse depicts King Frederick William III on horseback rallying troops with the inscription "DER KÖNIG RIEF UND ALLE KAMEN" and "MIT GOTT FÜR KÖNIG UND VATERLAND 17-3-1813". The reverse shows the German eagle attacking a serpent. Graded EF (Extremely Fine) with strong details visible.
