Description
This is a vintage Hong Kong commemorative medal struck to mark the defeat of Germany in 1919 at the end of World War I. The obverse features Britannia standing with a trident beside a lion, with "HONG-KONG" below. The reverse displays a crown above the inscription "IN COMMEMORATION OF THE DEFEAT OF GERMANY 1919" surrounded by a floral wreath. A suspension hole has been added at the top.
