This special edition 2013 Proof Silver Dollar commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Korean Armistice Agreement, honoring Canadian veterans who served in the Korean War. The reverse design is a reproduction of the original Korea Medal that was awarded to all the Commonwealth forces at the end of the War. The word "CANADA" was engraved on its obverse in order to distinguish those medals awarded to Canadian military personnel.
