Description
This is an 1812 Great Britain silver bank token with a face value of 1 shilling and 6 pence. Issued during the reign of King George III, these emergency tokens were produced to address coin shortages during the Napoleonic Wars. The obverse features the inscription "BANK TOKEN 1S. 6D. 1812" within a wreath, while the reverse shows the laureate bust of George III.
